Brother Lakeith Sutton is a 2013 initiate of the Abington-Ambler Alumni Chapter. Brother Sutton has faithfully served as co-chair for our chapter’s Guide Right Committee
for the past four years. In this role, Brother Sutton oversees our chapter’s Kappa Akademy (“KA”) program. Our KA program is a STEM-based, mentorship curriculum for boys ages 8-13. Brother Sutton creates and implements comprehensive, challenging, and thought-provoking STEM activities for our students.
This alone is awesome, but the program’s main objective is to show our students
that science, technology, and math is fun and tangible. Brother Sutton achieves this objective without fail. Brother Sutton’s commitment to the program is even more impressive than the curriculum he has developed. During his tenure, Brother Sutton moved to Maryland to open his mental health counseling practice.
Even though he lives more than 150 miles away from our KA meeting location, he HAS NOT MISSED one live, onsite session with the. students. His belief in our students and the mission of our brotherhood is the embodiment of that good old Kappa spirit. In addition to serving the students of Kappa Akademy, Brother Sutton makes it a point to participate in youth outreach initiatives centered
